Tutorials, demonstrations, tools.
The MIDRC Learning Portal serves as a centralized, user-friendly hub for medical imaging resources, offering tutorials, demonstrations, analytical tools, and community support. Check out a quick recap of MIDRC if you’d like to (re) familiarize yourself more with MIDRC before continuing.
Funded by the National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) Secure Pilot—co-led by the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Energy, the MIDRC-Learn portal is dedicated to supporting research and education nationwide. Its resources are designed to train the next generation of AI researchers and educators, offering access to secure infrastructure and comprehensive training materials.
As part of the NAIRR Secure Pilot, the portal enables AI research that requires privacy-preserving and security-focused resources, providing model datasets and best practice guidelines. Leveraging MIDRC’s expertise, the portal offers educational content that illustrates the utility of interoperable medical imaging data, linking patient imaging with clinical data to enhance user engagement and support research initiatives.
Note that the content is constantly being developed and updated. Check out the information on the data model, common data elements, and privacy & security below. More material coming soon!
